What’s Happening at Wattle and Daub Books

Golden Shamrocks by C Wolf

I am very sad to announce that Wattle and Daub author Tom Coughlan died of cancer on 6 July. We send our heartfelt condolences to his wife Edna. Publication of Tommy’s War will go ahead, but of necessity the process must slow down for a while.

Thanks, Tom, for being a brilliant, funny, precious man.

(Tom Coughlan’s book Tommy’s War is in the editing stage.  Tommy’s War details the often humorous and always surprising antics of a bright Irish boy growing up in England during World War II.

“Everyone around me was going through hell, and I was having the time of my life!”)

Bee Smith’s A Brigit Breviary will not be coming out after all. Kudoes to all who worked on it: Neil Pinkett for his beautiful cover art, Casey for her editing, Clelie for layout. It is with great regret that we say goodbye to this project.

You can find us at Facebook and Twitter. See the bottom of this page for our Twitter feed for the latest updates.

May all your reading bring you joy.

Susan Pinkus, Publisher

What seems at first a cup of sorrow is found in the end immortal wine.

That pleasure is pure: it is the joy which arises from a clear vision of the Spirit.
